Created as part of our 50th anniversary celebrations, this stunning Chiminea is a limited-edition update on a cult classic from Big Green Egg’s past. It’s a perfect complement when cooking on the EGG, extending your outdoor gathering late into a summer’s evening or keep your guests toasty through the colder months.
Produced in small batches from handmade casts, the wood fuelled Chiminea is crafted from the same NASA-grade ceramics as the Big Green Egg, offering unrivalled fuel efficiency, even heat distribution and striking good looks. The bottom of its dome is lined with a layer of lava rocks, which absorb, retain and distribute heat for prolonged warmth. The powder-coated steel grate and chimney are designed to keep the airflow consistent while directing the smoke up and away from your gathering.
Like the smoke they produce, these Chimineas won’t linger for long. Our workshop can only make a few at a time – and once they’re gone, they’re gone.

FAQs
We are expecting stock of the Chimineas in June. We will be in touch to arrange a delivery date with you. The Chiminea will be delivered on a pallet by our third party delivery company. Further information on how it will arrive can be viewed here.
If you order an EGG or accessories alongside your Chiminea, these will be shipped to you separately within our normal delivery timeframes.
We recommend using fresh kiln dried wood and Big Green Egg Lumpwood charcoal. Ensure that it is dry to avoid issue with lighting and excess smoke.
There is a limited 2 year warranty for the Chiminea.
The Chiminea is designed to keep you and your guests warm, that being said it would be rude not to toast some marsh mallows over the heat.
