Do not clean inside your EGG with water. Your EGG is self-cleaning. Simply close the lid after cooking and increase the temperature to allow any grease or food residues to burn off and carbonise. At the beginning of your next cook, use a wire brush or the ash tool to scrape off the carbon remnants on the grill surfaces. You can also use a paper towel dampened with vegetable oil to remove the remnants and season the grill. The outside enamel surface of the EGG can be cleaned using a damp cloth.
