We take great care to ensure that the descriptions and specifications of our products are accurate in all published materials. However, specifications and descriptions of products are not intended to be binding and are only intended to provide general information about the products.
STOCK AVAILABILITYWe endeavour to display through this website all items in our current range. We aim to hold stock of all products and sizes whilst a product is active. However, occasionally an item will be out of stock and if this is the case this will be highlighted in your shopping basket. The stock status for your order will also be shown on your order confirmation.
PRICESAll prices quoted on this website are accurate at the time of publication, are quoted in pounds sterling and where appropriate are inclusive of UK sales tax (VAT) at the current rate. If your order is being dispatched to a destination outside the European Union (EU) then your sales tax will be zero. If your order is being sent to a member state of the EU then the selling price will include VAT. In most cases this will be at the prevailing rate of the member state. You will be responsible for the payment of any customs or import duties levied once the package reaches your destination country.
PLACING AN ORDERBy placing an order with us you will be deemed to have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. Furthermore, you are making an offer to Alfresco Concepts Ltd to purchase the goods detailed in your order upon the terms described in your order.
Once you have placed an order we will send you a confirmation that your order has been received but this is not a confirmation that your offer to purchase the goods has been accepted. A contract between you and Alfresco Concepts Ltd for the sale of our products will only exist once an order has been accepted, processed and dispatched to you.
Your credit/debit card will be authorised when your order is placed and processed but you will not be charged for the value of the goods until the point that they are dispatched to you.
Prices and availability of goods are subject to change without notice. A delivery charge will be added to your order value. Please see our delivery times and charges.
BACK ORDERED ITEMSIf stock is temporarily unavailable we reserve the right to short deliver your order. If this happens, we regret that we cannot undertake to deliver the balance of such an order if it falls below our minimum carriage paid delivery.
We will ask you if you would prefer not to receive delivery until all items are available.
RESALEAC strictly prohibits the sale of any of the Products on the Internet.
DISPATCH TIMEOrders are taken between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday excluding Bank Holidays. Subject to availability we aim (but do not guarantee) to process and dispatch the order within 3 working days of receiving the order for a 3 working day delivery.
Deliveries unless otherwise stated will be on a 3 working day schedule with no specific time allocation. The delivery company is requested to call the customer 1 hour before delivery.
Saturday deliveries and timed deliveries are extra.
For deliveries offshore we aim (but do not guarantee) to deliver within 5 days. In respect of delivery, time shall not be of the essence.
All individual orders placed for drop shipment will be charged a shipping fee starting of £40.00 + VAT (£48). This shipping is only provided within the mainland UK.
DELIVERY CHARGESAll individual Egg-cessory orders up to 30kg in weight will be delivered by Parcel Force will be charged at £16. Egg-cessory orders greater than 30kg and all EGG orders will be shipped on a pallet at a charge of £48 to mainland England and southern Scotland. Certain Irish, Scottish and Channel Islands postcodes must be selected during checkout and will be charged at an additional rate.
DELIVERY & UNPACKINGEGGS are delivered in packaging designed to give maximum protection to the product. All EGGs whether assembled or not will be shrink wrapped and bolted on to a Euro pallet measuring 1m x 1m. Please ensure you have clear access through garden gates.
The delivery service is curb side. The Delivery company is under no obligation to unpack the EGG or deliver the EGG into your house or garden. The driver's obligation is to unload the EGG from the lorry.
If there is clear flat access to your garden it is at the driver's discretion to help move the EGG via a pallet jack.
Please see the "unpacking your EGG" section for further instructions on how to move your EGG once it has been delivered.
EGGs are are un-returnable unless they are damaged in transit. Please see Faulty Goods Section.
PALLET DISPOSALNeither the 3rd Party Delivery company or AC is responsible for the disposal of the pallet on which the Egg will be delivered.
DAMAGE CAUSED TO THE EGG DURING SHIPPINGAll Eggs are quality controlled and checked for any faults before they are dispatched to customers. If the Egg is damaged during delivery, the customer must notify the shipper and also AC in writing within 3 days to file a damage insurance claim. Photographic evidence of the damage must be provided and the Egg left attached to the pallet.
We do not accept liability to refund such discrepancies or replace breakages which have not been notified to us in writing within 3 days of delivery.
RETURNSDue to the weight and bulk of the eggs which require specialty packaging and delivery on a pallet, we do not operate a sales or return period, except in the case of any defects or damage occurring during shipment which have been reported within 3 working days as required above.
FAULTY EGG-CESSORIESIn the case of damaged Egg-cessories, please do not return stock without notifying us beforehand. We shall not be liable to refund carriage where goods are returned to us without proper arrangement.
Goods are classified as faulty if they have been received in a damaged condition. AC must be notified in writing within 7 days to obtain a Returns Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) code. Please note that items that are damaged after 7 days as a result of wear and tear are not considered to be faulty.

Customer care will email you a Returns Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) number. Please include it with your return so we can process your refund or exchange promptly.
We recommend that you use a trackable and insurable means to return the shipment and that you retain proof of sending, in case of a dispute. You will be liable for them until we receive them at our warehouse.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITYTo the fullest extent permitted by law, neither AC nor any associated company shall be liable to you by reason of any representation, or any implied warranty, condition or other term, or any duty at common law, or under the express terms of the contract, or in negligence (whether on the part of AC Company or any of its members, agents, directors, employees or otherwise) for any indirect special or consequential loss or damage (including but not limited to loss of profit or loss of saving), costs, expenses or other claims for compensation whatsoever which arise out of or in connection with the use of the Company's website, the supply of its Products or their use by you.
BIG GREEN EGG LIFETIME WARRANTYAlfresco Concepts Ltd's liability under the Big Green Egg replacement warranty shall not apply where the defect in the equipment has been caused either by any use of the equipment not in accordance with the Company's instructions or damage caused by inappropriate handling.

Big Green Egg stands behind the quality of its ceramics and gives a lifetime warranty on the ceramic components of the Egg (limited to the Dome, the Egg base, the Fire Ring & the Firebox.) All other components are not covered by the lifetime guarantee.
